Kundalini Yoga is a fast and efficient practice to relieve stress, lose weight, strengthen your body, and calm your mind. A consistent practice increases your energy, regulates emotions and hormones, sharpens intuition and focus, boosts immunity, and ultimately unlocks your highest potential - placing you in divine alignment with your true purpose and gifts.

How a Kundalini Class Starts

The practice of Kundalini Yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan® always begins by “tuning-in” with the mantra “Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo”.

Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo - also known as the Adi Mantra-is chanted at least three times before every Kundalini Yoga class. The mantra is a sound code that dials you into the Golden Chain of Teachers who came before us and also aligns mind, body, and spirit to the divine teacher that resides within yourself.

The Golden Chain is the wisdom that has been passed down by all of the teachers who came before us. You can think of it as Christ consciousness, Buddha, God, the universe, sages, saints, gurus, Source energy- whatever makes sense to you. By chanting the Adi Mantra, we actively connect to the infinite wisdom of the Universe - including the wisdom that resides within each one of us.

Mantra: Ong Namo Guru Dev Namo

Translation: I bow to the subtle divine wisdom, I bow to the divine teacher within.

My teacher is Guru Jagat at the RaMa Institute in Venice, CA. I highly recommend checking out RaMA TV - the Netflix of Kundalini Yoga. I teach 3-4 times per week which only has so much impact when trying to build a Dallas Kundalini community. Here is a video where you can watch and hear a proper “Tune In” and it also features a prosperity meditation which I teach regularly. It’s learning time!
